Here is the Endless Summer Vox Box from Influenster. It contained eyeliner and mascara from Max Factor X, teas from Numi, leave in conditioner from Not Your Mother's, nail polish from Seche, and protein shakes from Irontek.

I'm status post left shoulder surgery so ignore my arm in a sling. Tried to paint my nails for the first time since surgery and was somewhat successful. Got to test out @sechenails in the color "cunning". It also comes with a fast drying top coat! Super cute color. I loved the color nail polish I got from Seche.  It was in a 2 step process, the color and then the top coat. It was easy to apply but was very disappointed with how long it lasted. It only lasted about a day on my nails before it began to chip.

The Way to Grow leave in conditioner from Not Your Mother's is great. The smell is delightful and it leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth. I have been using it for about a month and have noticed an improvement in my ends from the product. Did I mention how great it smells??

I am really not a tea drinker but some days, a nice warm cup of tea just revives the soul. Tea with some studying go together 👌🏼👌🏼 This @numiorganictea was absolutely delicious. It tastes like hot chocolate but in a tea version. My favorite product in this voxbox is hands down the tea from Numi. I got 3 samples and they all tasted incredible. One of the flavors tasted like hot chocolate... yes, hot chocolate. I had to re-read the label to make sure that it was tea! The turmeric tea is wonderful for so many qualities, mainly because it is anti-inflammatory. I have purchased this tea since drinking it from this box and will probably continue to use this brand. I recommend it to any tea lover out there!

Moda Vox Box contained :

• Rimmel London Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara
• I loved this mascara! It had a very strange brush that I had never seen before, shaped like half a heart. It formed very well to the shape of my eye and reached some lashes that other brushes never reached. The only thing I didn't like too much was the fact that it did clump a little and my lashes were a little harder to curl.

• Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick
• I never use lipstick but I figured since I got it, I should try it. I actually really liked the shade that it came in and wasn't as bold as the cherry tomato red that everyone seems to have a lot of confidence for, except for me. It stayed on for a good 4 hours before I had to reapply and it didn't smudge all over my face.

• Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner
• If I don't use lipstick, I don't use lipliner, EVER. So, I applied this onto my lips and I didn't really know what to expect. It is clear so you cannot see it, god forbid you bring back a 90's fashion mistake. I don't love or hate this product, I don't think I needed it.

• Puffs SoftPack
• These tissues are so soft, they are perfect for someone who is sick and has a very raw nose from cheap tissues. The "box" it came in is also soft and collapsable so when I ended up getting sick, I used this box as a pillow. I recommend this brand and tissue.

• Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer
• If you are in a career where you frequently have to wash your hands or work out in the cold causing cracked hands, I suggest using this moisturizer. I am a nurse and wash my hands a total of 3 million times per shift, making my hands so raw and pained from the cracks. I took the 1 week challenge and my hands have never been so soft. I am sad to have finished my container amongst myself and my coworkers, I plan on purchasing a larger container for work! This is a must have.

• resource Natural Spring Water
• I am not a fan of water, even though its a requirement to live. I only drink water when working out and figured to take this with me to my yoga class. It was very refreshing and tasty after a strenuous work out! You definitely taste the difference from other bottled waters.

• Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask
• This is my FAVORITE product from the Moda Vox Box and I have already purchased two other bottles. It instructs you to apply this cream into your hair after a shower and comb thoroughly. I have extremely frizzy curly hair and this mask tamed all crazy hairs that I had flying around. It left my hair feeling absolutely flawless and soft. I have only used the mask and not their other products but I would assume that the other styles would work just as well as this one! See photo below for my hair after applying the mask!

• Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa
• I don't think anyone can go wrong with everyone's favorite brand of hot cocoa, Swiss Miss. The taste of this hot cocoa is so much stronger and tastier than their past hot cocoas. It is a must have for these cold Autumn/Winter nights. Doesn't hurt to add any extra marshmallows, theres never enough marshmallows. 

I definitely recommend all of these products except for the lip liner, I just didn't see the purpose of it. Did you receive this Moda Vox Box free from influenster for testing purposes too? If so, let me know what you liked below. :)

Pedigree Stackerz review!

Hello everyone! So the past couple weeks, my lovely two dachshunds got into the reviewing mood and were allowed to test some delicious Pedigree Stackerz from Pedigree and Influenster for free! I am very picky about what goes into my dogs' mouths because their breed is very prone to obesity and weight gain. However, as picky as I may be, my dogs would eat dirt if I let them, so I bet they thought this tasted like heaven! 

I fed them this as a delicious little snack and it had them wagging their tails for hours afterwards. Whenever they hear me even approach the bag of the Stackerz, they start to bark for a little piece! I break off the sticks into thirds and they each get a little piece. These treats a real success according to my two little girls, and i definitely recommend them to anyone who has a dog that eats treats! There are three flavors of filet mignon and bacon, grilled chicken and NY strip flavor, and smoky bacon and cheddar flavor. My puppies had the filet mignon and bacon flavor that is shown above and they couldn't have enough. I will absolutely continue to purchase these for them. Daisy and Delilah would like to thank Pedigree and Influenster for their gifts and they would love to continue to give their expertise in food advice in the future.

Kiss Nails Brand Badge winner review!

Hey guys! So this week, I got my brand badge award from Influenster and Kiss Nails. The kit consisted of Kiss Artist nail stickers (2) and one Broadway nails ImPress nails. 

Let me start off by saying, I used to love doing my nails before I started nursing school, they were always painted. However, after starting and finishing nursing school, my nails were usually bare because of the rules of my school. Now that I am a nurse, my job's policy is to have no bright colors and no acrylics on for safety and hygiene purposes. So I was kind of upset to get such a bright color of press on nails and stickers but was willing to give these to a little girl who might be able to use them more than me. ;)

I have used Kiss nail artist stickers before, more around middle school time and they were THE BOMB to use. There are so many possibilities with these stickers and they are very very very easy to use. Easy for a little girl to use or for a mom to use with their daughter. I had never actually purchased the Broadway ImPress nails before so I was excited to put those on my nails.

The picture above is from the Broadway nails website and it shows you just how easy it is to use! The box tells you to clean your nails, use the polish pad with the kit, peel off the nails from the back, stick on, and press. Voila, all done. It sounds easy enough, no glue, no having to file down to fit the fake nail to your real nail, and practically done in seconds. Well, my kit didn't have the polish pad like it was supposed to and the plastic you have to peel off was not as easy as I thought to peel. Some would peel off easily and some would break into pieces and you wouldn't get all the plastic off. Overall, the results were pretty good! I have gotten lots of compliments about my nails and they look like they were done in the salon.

I have had them on for only 1 day and two nails have fallen off. I think they are only meant for max of 7 days use (supposedly) and I would definitely only wear them during emergencies where I don't have time to get them done. I don't recommend doing them the day before any event, strictly day of, just in case it falls off. The plastic sticky side on the back is actually very strong and adherent, just be sure to press hard when you are applying to get all of it down.

In the end, I would recommend the nail stickers and I am donating these to a little girl close to my heart to make her nails look just absolutely fabulous. With the ImPress nails, I am a little more hesitant. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a quick and temporary nail fix. It takes minutes to put on and it really does look like salon results. However, if you expect these to last a week, i wouldn't suggest this brand.

Rimmel London Badge winner!

Hello everyone! So a few months back, I participated in the Spring Fling Vox Box from Influenster and was able to unlock the Rimmel London badge! For unlocking the badge, I won a package from the company and this was what came in the box!

First up was the Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless with Grow Lash Complex. It says that lashes will look up to 126% longer in 30 days. There were two liquid eyeliners- Scandaleyes precision micro eyeliner with an ultra fine tip and Scandaleyes with thick & thin eyeliner. I am very excited to try these two eyeliners out because I am an eyeliner addict. The last two items were Rimmel London Show Off lip laquer in Nude Eclipse and Big Bang. I am not a big fan of super ruby red lips on me but my mother is. I can't wait to use the nude color as it is my favorite lip color EVER!

So I know this isn't the best quality photo but it was all I could manage before work this morning. I am wearing the Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless mascara, the Scandaleyes ultra fine tip eyeliner, and the Show Off lip laquer in nude eclipse. I have to say that the mascara DID make my eye lashes significantly longer and the brush didn't cause my lashes to clump (best property of a mascara am I right??) The only bad thing was my eyelashes were very hard to curl with my curler. I naturally have very pathetic looking eyelashes but my curler always succeeds at making them look like fans. I might have to do some experimenting with the mascara and curling order to get them looking nice. The eyeliner was a wonder, applying very easily with a very thin black line. It was waterproof but I was able to wipe it off with some water quite easily when it was still wet. The lip laquer didn't stay on very easily even with a gloss over it. Maybe with a few layers on, it will stay on?? 

I think a few more times of experimenting with all this Rimmel London US make up will show me how well all these products really work but I am over all very very happy with the eye liner. In a month, I shall see if my lashes are longer like they advertise.

Spring Fling Vox Box Review (May 2014)

I was able to receive a spring fling box box from influenster for free! I just need to review the products and voila! As soon as I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by what I received. First off, the playtex sport fresh balance tampons are the bombbbbb. They work great. I used them for a few 5ks and had no complaints. The Nivea skin forming hydrating cream was also excellent. I use it right before bed and my skin looks so much better. What a difference! The retroglam scandaleyes by rimmel London was very very good too. The color was perfectly black and no clumping. My eyelashes are hard to curl but these really worked for me! Of course with the help of an eyelash curler. The one product I didn’t really enjoy too much was the kiss nails everlasting French. They were okay to put on, somewhat difficult with glue but that could easily be due to being clumsy. The nail color was excellent I loved the pearly white! The length was okay. But they started coming off after day one. So if anyone has a tedious career or lifestyle, I don’t think these would work well for you. Also, they gave us a Labor Day movie air freshener that smells like apple pie

Bikini Ready Lifestyle Gummies Review

My secret to bikini ready lifestyle is running! My goal is definitely to not be fit for a bikini but be a healthy and mentally strong person! I love to run, no matter what distance, or what pace. It’s a very liberating experience. These are two of my medals that I have gotten from a few races I ran in. Can’t wait to try out these Bikini Ready Energy Gummies I received from influenster complimentary for testing purposes. Hopefully it will keep me energized on a nice long run. :)

Influenster Vitality Vox Box Review

Received my Vitality Vox Box from influenster complimentary for testing purposes.

I received this box a little over a week ago and it allowed me to review everything! The softlips lip balm cube came in the crest little receptacle. I’ve never seen a lip balm in a cube shape. It feels a little bulky in my pocket but did just fine in my pocket. The smell of the pomegranate blueberry was phenomenal and it left my lips very moisturized. This is definitely recommend for anyone searching for a new lip balm.

The playtex sport tampons are my all time favorite female products to ever hit the market. They keep up with my active lifestyle while I’m training for a half marathon and my yoga schedule. These are both cheap and effective, I recommend these to anyone who lives a healthy lifestyle and happens to be a girl. ;)

The bikini ready gummies have also contributed to my half marathon training. These little gummies have just the right amount of caffeine to give me a boost to push me at the end of the run. The only bad things about these are the after taste of the gummies. I will probably buy these but if I don’t, I probably won’t be too upset about it.

The Elizabeth Arden serum came in a cute little container that I was glad to put on my face. It says to put it on before your moisturizer so I did. I haven’t noticed any difference yet but will keep trying it out! It is pretty expensive so unless you’re made of money but you do want a good product, try this one out.

First degree burn cream is very helpful in a household with children, a husband, or just someone like me being very clumsy. I burned myself with my straightening iron and put the cream on to have very fast relief! You can also use this product on Sun burns or razor burns and mild scraps. I would absolutely invest in this product again!

Pure leaf tea was such a very tasty surprise in this box. This flavor was unsweetened but very refreshing when chilled. It is exactly what someone needs on a hot summer day. I have purchased this product in the past and will definitely continue to do so.
